After shocking us with the Pulsar AS200, we had the same feeling when the pictures of the Boxer Café Racer surfaced on the web. However, the Café Racer is a modification job done by an enthusiast in Turkey.
But we have to agree that work on this Café Racer has been done really well, and doesn’t really look like a job done by a basic designer. If you go through the pictures in this article, the owner used the Boxer 150 as a touring machine and later decided to modify it into a Café Racer. The Bajaj Boxer is powered by a 144.8cc single cylinder, air-cooled mill which produces 12bhp at 7500rpm and 12Nm of torque at 4500 rpm.
The Boxer was discontinued few years ago in India, but it used to be a very good workhorse motorcycle. The rural market used to love this bike, however, the Pune-based manufacturer pulled the plug on this motorcycle. But as per a source, Bajaj is planning to relaunch the Boxer in the Indian market and has been looking for a perfect timing to do so. Whenever this happens, we would love to review this motorcycle.
