Hero MotoCorp has unveiled an updated version of the Pleasure automatic scooter in New Delhi today. The facelift to the scooter is part of Hero’s efforts to update their lineup including the Xtreme, Karizma, ZMR and Splendor.
The Pleasure facelift has new headlamp and tail lamp design, revised instrument cluster and two tone paint scheme. The features list now includes alloy-wheels, tubeless tyres, a mobile charger and an illuminated glove box. There are no changes to the engine and the scooter will continue to derive power from a 102cc engine developing 7bhp and 8Nm of torque.
The Gurgaon based manufacturer has introduced the Integrated Braking System (IBS). The IBS improves the rider’s safety and provides comfort of one brake handle for both front and rear wheels. This technology has also been developed by HMCL’s R&D team and the company has already filed for patent for this technology.
The scooter will be available in only one variant and the price is expected to be announced before Diwali.
