MV Agusta has introduced ABS unit in all of its three Brutale models; Brutale 1090, Brutale 1090 R and Brutale 1090 RR. Last year the European Union made it mandatory for all motorcycle above 125cc to have an ABS unit from 2016 to reduce accidents which were majorly caused by braking.
MV Agusta will be using the Bosch 9MP ABS unit. Reports suggest this particular ABS unit offers the maximum performance in the lightest and the most compact package which makes it the ideal unit to incorporate into the limited amount of space available on the Brutale.
All the 2013 Brutale motorcycles will incorporate two riding modes; normal mode for everyday street riding use and race mode for track and more aggressive riding style.
