The 2014 BMW R1200RT motorcycle has been spotted testing in South France. In fact folks at motorcycle news spotted not one but four test mules in black and white decals. The R1200RT is considered to be one of the better touring bikes in the world and this new version wil certainly make touring enthusiast happy.
The 2014 model will use the 125bhp engine from the recently launched BMW R1200GS. From one of the images, we can see that the R1200RT features the adaptive headlights from its big brother, the BMW K1600GT, but there might be a possibility that this might be an optional feature.
The 2014 BMW R1200RT motorcycle will surely be available in India once it is launched as BMW sells most of their motorcycles here. The current BMW R1200RT retails for Rs 22.75 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).
