Hero MotoCorp has silently launched the 2014 Xtreme at Rs 67,364 (ex-showroom Pune). Dealerships across India have started to take bookings for this bike at Rs 1,000. The company has also launched few other facelifted motorcycles, a way through which it wants to keep its portfolio fresh.
The 2014 Xtreme gets many cosmetic changes like the new headlight with an updated visor, new tail lights with LED light guide, part digital cluster with side stand indicator and new graphics. The overall design looks much better than the old version with sportiness coming from each and every angle.
The 2014 Hero Xtreme will continue to be powered by the same 149.2cc single-cylinder engine producing 15.2bhp at 8500rpm and 12.8 Nm of peak torque torque at 6500rpm. The standard variant gets a 130 mm drum brake setup at the rear.
The standard variant of Hero Xtreme is priced at Rs 67,364 (ex-showroom, Pune), while the single front and rear disc variant costs Rs 70,678 (ex-showroom, Pune). Its available in five colours – black, red, silver, black-red and orange.
