Last week, Kawasaki unveiled its middleweight motorcycle, the Vulcan S, based on the ER-6n’s platform. The youngest member of the Vulcan family of cruisers, the Vulcan S is powered by a retuned version of the 649cc parallel twin engine which is also used in the Kawasaki Versys 650 and ER-6n. Despite being low on power, the new engine has better low-end and mid-range torque to aid the motorcycle’s cruising ability. The base version of the Vulcan S retails at USD 6,999 (Rs 4.29 lakh) while the ABS variant will set you back by an extra USD 400 (Rs 24,471). Check out the detailed picture gallery of the Vulcan S.
