The annual Royal Enfield Rider Mania gathering will be held from November 18 to November 20 at Vagator in Goa. More than 4,500 riders have already registered for the three days of the motorcycling festival.
Royal Enfield say, Rider Mania has grown into a place where experienced and new riders find common ground to engage and participate in different facets of motorcycling. The three day festival has events ranging from contests to learning courses to live music.
The itinerary of three day festival includes:
Off-road training session - A hands-on training experience available to anyone who rides a Royal Enfield. The one-hour session will be conducted on 18th Nov 2016, where the participants will be trained for basic riding skills on dirt by coaches. While learning to ride on dirt is a useful skill for all riders, it is of particular use to Himalayan owners.
Dirt track racing - This competitive event at Rider Mania will also feature a Himalayan category apart from the up to 360cc and up to 550cc, giving riders a chance to showcase their off-roading capabilities. The Dirt Track Racing which is scheduled across three days (November 18-20) of the Rider Mania 2016 will follow the International Sporting Code of the FIM and the appendices of The Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI).
Slow race - Where the slowest participant to complete the track without putting their leg down or going out of their lane wins.
Other challenges include a maze chase, assembly wars and carry your bike. Other activities include an early morning ride through Mahadai Wildlife Sanctuary, Divar Island via Panjim to Old Goa comprising of a ferry ride before culminating at Vagator. And of course, there will be custom bikes on display some of which are designed and built for Rider Mania
