The new Bonneville T120 uses the quintessentially retro recipe with a host of technological upgrades, which have helpedit evolve into a legit modern classic.
The round headlamp, indicators, mirrors and the gauges all hark back to the classic Triumph motorcycles of the late 1950s.
The headlamp integrates LED DRLs aligned in a signature pattern, while the conventional orange tinted turn signals retain the old-school aura.
The rear section gets a clean and retro look, with the LED tail lamp assembly providing the sole bling factor.
Built on a completely new chassis, the Bonneville T120 comes loaded with ABS, traction control, ride-by-wire throttle and a slip assist clutch.
Powering the Bonneville T120 is a new 1200cc ‘high torque’ parallel twin engine, which is rated at 105Nm of torque.
Despite it being liquid-cooled, the engine of the Bonneville T120 gets cooling fins which accentuate its old-school looks.
The elongated single-piece seat has been revised with softer materials and a new fabric to offer better comfort during long rides.
The new suspension setup has been developed to make the Bonneville T120 comfortable for long rides, without compromising its every day usability.
The digital displays in the retro twin-pod console read out the rider mode setting, gear position, range to empty and the ABS and traction control status.
