Bajaj has commenced the dispatch of the 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 150 to select dealerships. Priced at Rs 73,514 (ex-showroom, Delhi), this facelift is Rs 800 more expensive than the outgoing model.
The new Pulsar 150 gets a few cosmetic updates like new paint schemes and decals. The engine is finished in matte grey. It also gets a new seat to improve comfort. While the Pulsar 180 and Pulsar 220F facelifts now get a blue backlit instrument console, the Pulsar 150 continues with an orange backlit display. Under the skin is a 149cc single-cylinder engine delivering 15bhp and 12Nm of torque, through a five-speed transmission. Unlike the other three 2017 Pulsar models, the new Pulsar 150 is not BS IV-compliant as of yet. Bajaj has so far refused to comment on when this update will be introdcued.
The new Pulsar 150 is available in black/red and blue/white paint schemes. Select dealerships have already started accepting bookings for the new Pulsar 150 for a token amount of Rs 1,000. The Pulsar 150 rivals other executive commuter bikes like the Honda CB Unicorn 150, Hero Xtreme Sports, TVS Apache RTR 160 and the Yamaha SZ-RR.
