Benelli has unveiled the 2017 TNT15. Sold in Southeast Asian countries like Indonesia and Vietnam, the TNT15 has been positioned between the TNT135 mini bike and the quarter-litre streetfighter – the TNT25.
The TNT 15 is built around a new trestle frame like its siblings. Benelli has penned the TNT 15’s design along the lines of its bigger streetfighter siblings. The headlamp sports a familiar design with a pilot lamp at the bottom and a small visor on top. While the old instrument cluster was similar to the one on the TNT25, the new fully-digital LCD display adds a modern touch.
The TNT15 is powered by a 148cc single-pot engine delivering 12bhp and 11Nm of torque through a five-speed gearbox. The TNT 15 rides on inverted front forks and a rear monoshock. Braking hardware consists of disc brakes at both ends.
In 2017, the Italian marque plans to launch four new bikes – TNT135, Tornado 302R, BX250 Motard and the TRK502. While the TNT15 could be an interesting addition to Benelli’s Indian portfolio, the company hasn’t commented anything about a launch in India.
