Harley-Davidson India has announced price cuts for two of its motorcycles. The Fat Boy gets a price cut of Rs 2 lakhs whereas the Heritage Softail Classic sees a price reduction of Rs 2.5 lakhs.
The Fat Boy was previously priced at Rs 17.1 lakhs and its new price is Rs 14.9 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). The Heritage Softail Classic is now priced at Rs 15.9 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). Previously, the retail pricing for this cruiser was Rs 18.5 lakhs. These prices are applicable for the 2017 models only and are applicable till stock lasts.
This makes us believe that the legendary American manufacturer is clearing its stocks to make way for the 2018 models that were unveiled a few days ago. The 2018 Softail range has a total of eight motorcycles, the Street Bob, Fat Bob, Low Rider, Softail Slim, Deluxe, Breakout, Fat Boy and the Heritage Classic. Other than these, Harley-Davidson has also revealed its 2018 Sportster, CVO and the big touring models. We’re expecting the company to begin launching these bikes towards the end of this year.
