As we all know in the cruiser motorcycle world, the more cubic inches your engine has, the bigger and greater your motorcycle is. According to rumours floating around the internet, the high-end 2017 Harley-Davidson range could feature 1753cc engines.
With these engines, Harley-Davidson could be going one cube bigger than Victory Motorcycles. It appears as a counter move to when Indian Motorcycle came with their new 111 engine which was one cube bigger than the Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
Earlier, an international source had leaked images of what looked to be the new 107 engine. If true, there is no doubt that these motorcycles will be Euro-4 compliant. To meet the new emissions regulations, these single-cam engines are expected to be water and oil-cooled as well. They will also have quieter chain-driven cams and will all sport the new hydraulic clutch. There are also rumours that Harley-Davidson will have 1868cc (114 cubic inch) or 2146cc (131 cubic inch) engines for their CVOs and limited edition S models.
The news will get confirmed at the Harley-Davidson international launch in the first week of September.
