The 2017 Hero Maestro Edge has been launched at Rs 57,782 (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The new model benefits from a revised BS IV-compliant engine, new paint schemes and decals and an Always Headlamp On (AHO) feature.
While the 2017 Maestro Edge gets the same 111cc single-cylinder engine, the power output has now been revised. The engine delivers 8bhp and 8.7Nm of torque, which is 0.3bhp less and 0.4Nm more than before. The engine is also BS IV compliant. Apart from the existing seven paint schemes, the Maestro Edge is offered in two new dual-tone paint schemes – red/white and blue/white. It also gets the AHO feature to meet government regulations.
The new Maestro Edge pricier than the outgoing model by Rs 700. It competes with the likes of the Honda Activa 4G, TVS Jupiter and the Yamaha Fascino.
