Honda has launched the 2017 Activa-i at Rs 47,913 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Targeted at a female audience, the Activa-i has been updated with a BS IV-compliant engine, auto headlamp on (AHO) and new dual-tone paint schemes.
The new Activa-i gets new dainty paint schemes and decals, designed to appeal to the fairer sex. It also gets body-coloured mirrors, redesigned tail lamp, tubeless tyres and an optional mobile charging socket in the under-seat compartment. Powering the Aviator is the 109.2cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, which is also used in the Activa range. This engine has been updated to meet BS IV emission norms, and delivers 8bhp and 8.77Nm of torque through a CVT gearbox. It gets 130mm drum brakes on both ends with combined braking system (CBS) available as a standard fitment.
The Activa-i is offered in purple, magenta, orange, black and red. It competes with other 110cc scooters like the Suzuki Let’s, TVS Scooty Zest 110 and the Hero Pleasure.
