The Dio scooter is quite famous among the Indian youngsters, thanks to the distinctive headlamp placement. But now, Honda has decided to offer better style with its 2017 model which has been caught on camera.
The front of the 2017 Dio gets a revised styling. There’s a new light assembly integrated onto the handlebar apron and a set of lights just above the turn indicators. The scooter gets a dual paint treatment to make it look more sporty and fresh. Other than this, the 2017 Honda Dio will be available in a new yellow-grey paint scheme. The 2017 Dio will be BS-IV compliant and will sport Automatic Headlamp On (AHO) feature. We’re expecting no change in power output, and the scooter will continue to churn out 8bhp and 8.7Nm.
The Dio has been the second highest selling scooter for Honda. The 2017 version is expected to get more sales for the company and will surely take away some sales from its rivals. We’re expecting a marginal increase of price over its outgoing model.
