Honda has launched the new Dream Neo in India at Rs 50,087 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Japanese manufacturer is also offering a higher-spec version featuring a chrome luggage rack at the rear, priced at Rs 50,379 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
While the main motive behind launching a 2017 model was to make it BS IV compliant, Honda also took this opportunity to introduce a few more updates. The Dream Neo now features a longer seat, three-step preload adjustable rear suspension, a chrome exhaust shield and an auto headlamp on feature. It is also offered in new paint schemes with flashy decals.
Powering the Dream Neo is a 109cc single-cylinder engine, delivering 8.3bhp and 9Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed transmission. The Dream Neo gets drum brakes and tubeless tyres at both ends.
The Honda Dream Neo is available in black/blue, black/red, grey/purple and red paint schemes. It competes with the likes of Hero Passion XPro, TVS Victor and the Yamaha Saluto RX.
