Kawasaki recently launched a limited edition version of its litre-class superbike, christened Ninja ZX-10RR. Priced at Rs 21.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Ninja ZX-10RR is the most track-focused production sportbike Kawasaki has ever made. Here is a detailed photo gallery of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR -
The most obvious visual difference is the paint scheme. The Ninja ZX-10RR gets the Winter Edition livery inspired by the company’s WSBK team.
Other unique touches include snowflake logos on the rear cowl and windscreen and RR badges on the fairing and the engine crankcase.
The Ninja ZX-10RR rides on lightweight Marchesini wheels and sticky Pirelli Supercorsa SP tyres with just enough grooves to keep it road legal.
It gets the same LCD display as the Ninja ZX-10R with functions like IMU indicator, launch control, engine braking activation, power modes and traction control among others.
Powering the Ninja ZX-10RR is a 999cc inline four engine mated to a six-speed gearbox with a quickshifter for clutchless upshifts and downshifts.
The engine has been tweaked with modified cylinder heads to accommodate the high-lift cams, stiffer valve springs and a reinforced crankcase.
While we are used to seeing race-spec exhausts on homologation specials, the Ninja ZX-10RR breathes out through a standard canister.
The suspension setup consists of fully-adjustable 43mm inverted front forks and a rear monoshock, both supplied by Showa.
The Ninja ZX-10RR gets dual 330mm front discs with four-piston Brembo monobloc callipers and a single 220mm rear disc brake with a single-piston calliper.
