India Kawasaki Motors (IKM) launched the BSIV variant of the Kawasaki Z250 in April 2017. However, the manufacturer did not reveal the bike or any pictures during the launch.
The 2017 Z250 gets a matte green finish with new graphics and gold coloured alloys although there is no change to the technical bits other than the BS-lV update. The bike uses a 249cc, parallel-twin engine which produces 32bhp at 11,000rpm and 21Nm of torque at 10,000rpm paired to a six-speed gearbox.
Kawasaki Z250 retails at a price of ₹3.35 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai) and competes with the Benelli TNT 300 and the KTM 390 Duke.
