The 2017 version of the KTM 390 Duke has finally been launched in India. The bike has been priced at Rs 2.25 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) which is similar to that of the 2017 RC390 which was launched last month.
The bike is equipped with an all-LED headlamp which makes the Duke look aggressive.
KTM has taken the design inspiration for the 390 Duke from its eldest sibling – the 1290 Super Duke.
The slipper clutch has been carried forward from the older model. The 390 Duke is the only naked KTM to get adjustable levers.
The fuel tank is larger at 13.5 litres which is a very good move.
Switchable ABS is standard, and there's a bigger 320mm front brake disc. No change in the rear brake disc.
The side-slung exhaust on the 390 Duke was done to complement the overall design language.
It gets a first-in-class multicolour TFT display that can pair with a phone and control it from the switchgear on the handlebar.
The 373cc single-cylinder motor produces 43.5bhp and 37Nm and is BS-IV compliant.
