Latest spy shots show that Royal Enfield is going to launch three new paint schemes for the Classic 350.
For 2017, Royal Enfield will be adding three new colour options for customers to choose from - red, green and blue. While the Classic 350 is already available in six paint schemes, it is possible that the company might discontinue a few of these. The surprising bit is that Royal Enfield has ditched its trademark pinstripe design for the fuel tank in these new paint schemes. Only the tank is painted in the chosen shade, with the rest of the components either getting chrome treatment or being blacked out.
At the heart of the Classisc 350 is a 346cc engine that churns out 19.8bhp and 28Nm of torque through a five-speed transmission. There is also a possibility that the engine has been updated to meet the BS IV emission norms, though the company hasn’t confirmed this yet.
The Classic 350 has spearheaded Royal Enfield’s growth in the domestic market. Averaging 30,000 units a month, the Classic 350 is highest selling Royal Enfield in India and we can safely expect the numbers to receive a boost with the introduction of these new paints schemes. The 2017 Classic 350 will hit the showrooms by January, competing with the likes of the Mahindra Mojo, Bajaj Dominar 400 and the UM Renegade Sports S.
