The Triumph Bonneville Bobber was launched in India earlier today, priced at Rs 9.09 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Targeted at custom motorcycle enthusiasts, the Bonneville Bobber harks back to the original bobber motorcycles from the 1940s. Here is a detailed image gallery of the Triumph Bonneville Bobber -
Styling cues like a round headlamp and mirrors, indicators, twin-pod gauges and the slant-cut exhausts enhance the Bonneville Bobber’s retro appeal.
On the other hand, features like the LED DRLs in the headlamp, digital display and electronic aids give the Bonneville Bobber a modern touch.
The engine in itself is a piece of art thanks to the brushed aluminium engine covers, bronze detailing on the crankcase, faux carburettor and the cooling fins.
Under the skin is the same 270-degree crank parallel-twin architecture that powers the rest of Triumph’s modern classic range.
Displacing 1200c, this liquid-cooled engine delivers 76bhp and 106Nm of torque through a six-speed transmission.
The Bonneville Bobber gets rider aids like two riding modes, ABS, traction control and an optional cruise control.
The Bonneville Bobber rides on a 19-inch front and a 16-inch rear spoke wheel with Avon Cobra radials developed specifically for this model.
The brake setup consists of Nissin callipers gripping a 310mm disc in the front and a 255mm disc at the rear. ABS is offered as standard.
Owners can add a personal touch with over 150 optional accessories like exhaust, quilted seat, auxiliary clocks, LED indicators, panniers and bar-end mirrors.
