The 2017 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V has been launched in India at Rs 97,800 (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The streetfighter has been updated to meet BS IV emission norms and features auto headlamp on (AHO).
There are no cosmetic changes to the Apache RTR 200 4V, apart from the new ‘BS IV’ sticker on the engine cowl. Even the power and torque output are same as before. The Apache RTR 200 4V is powered by a carburetted 198cc oil-cooled single-cylinder engine, delivering 20bhp and 18Nm of torque through a five-speed gearbox. The motorcycle is now offered with AHO, and the switchgear no longer features a headlamp switch.
TVS has also started offering stickier Pirelli tyres as optional extras in place of the TVS Remora tyres for Rs 8,000. There is no word about ABS or a fuel injection system for now.
