The TVS Jupiter facelift featuring new paint schemes and a BS IV compliant engine has been spotted at a dealership.
The new TVS Jupiter doesn’t get any styling updates, though it does get the option of two new paint schemes. Apart from the existing six paint schemes, the new Jupiter will be offered in green and royal wine paint schemes. While the front disc brake was exclusive to the Jupiter MillionR edition, it will now be available as an optional extra in the standard version. The drum brake variants also get the option of a sync braking system (SBS). The new Jupiter will also benefit from the auto headlamp on (AHO) feature while the 109cc powertrain has been updated to meet BS IV emission norms.
Last month, TVS launched the 2017 Wego priced at Rs 50,434 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This scooter featured two new paint schemes and AHO apart from being BS IV compliant. As for the new Jupiter, we can expect it to be marginally more expensive than the current version, which retails at Rs 49,034 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It will go on sale over the next few weeks.
