TVS has launched the MY 2017 versions of the Sport, Star City Plus and the Victor commuter motorcycles. Prices begin at 37,580 for the Sport, Rs 44.990 for the Star City Plus and Rs 51,715 for the Victor (all ex-showroom, Delhi).
All three models get BS IV-compliant engines and auto headlamp on (AHO) feature. The Sport is the entry-level model in TVS’ line-up. It is powered by a 99cc single-cylinder engine delivering 7.7bhp and 7.8Nm of torque through a four-speed transmission. It is offered seven dual-tone paint schemes. The Sport is offered in three variants – kick start (KS) and spoke wheels, KS and alloy wheels, and electric start (ES) and alloy wheels. The alloy wheels variants are priced at Rs 43,236 and Rs 46,924 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Star City Plus is positioned above the Sport, and gets a bigger 109cc engine, delivering 8.3bhp and 8.7Nm of torque. It is offered in a single spec with the option of 10 paint schemes. The Victor on the other hand is a premium commuter. It gets a three valve 109cc engine delivering 9.5bhp and 9.4Nm of torque. The Victor is available with an optional front disc brake which costs an additional Rs 2,000. It is offered in six paint schemes. TVS recently also updated the Apache range and its scooter range to meet BS IV norms.
