The Leg 2 of the 2018 Desert Storm covered a distance of roughly 496kms split in two stages of 132kms and 194kms each. The course began in Noorsar and concluded in Jaisalmer.
Hero Motorsports Rally Team rider CS Santosh retained his lead with a time of 3 hours 3 minutes and six seconds. Angata Racing's Aaron Mare placed second with a time of 03:05:20. Sanjay Kumar came in third yet again on the other Angata racing bike at 03:21:27.
However, TVS Racing's Santolino Lorenzo pushed from 8th to 4th position and was also faster than the race leader by around 2 minutes. He clocked a time of 03:27:01. Meanwhile, TVS Racing's other riders Tanveer Abdul Wahid and Rajendra RE dropped to 5th and 7th position respectively from the 4th and 5th position they held in Leg 1.
