The Leg 4 of the rally began in Majid ki Basti and concluded in Asutar had participants travelling through 348kms of sand dunes in the scorching heat.
Angata Racing's Aaron Mare continued to stay at the top with a time of 7 hours 44 minutes and 22 seconds. However, TVS Racing's Santolino Lorenzo was the fastest rider yet again with a time of 01:02:02. While he set the fastest time for three consecutive legs, Lorenzo still placed second with an overall time of 07:49:43; 5 minutes and 21 seconds behind the leader.
Meanwhile Tanveer Abdul Wahid from TVS Racing did not finish the Leg as he faced technical issues with the bike. Placed third was Angata Racing's Sanjay Kumar with an overall time of 08:18:56.
Leg 4 which was earlier scheduled to have a night stage was cut short keeping riders safety as priority. The final Leg 5 Stage 10 of the rally will start at Kuchri and end at Sam desert covering 105kms. Stay tuned for more updates as we near the finals!
