- Features LED headlamp
- Now available in red paint scheme
- Rs 2,000 more expensive than the outgoing model
Honda has launched the 2018 Aviator in India at Rs 55,157 (ex-showroom). The scooter is available in three variants, and is around Rs 2,000 more expensive than the outgoing model.
In tune with the rest of the premium scooter range, Honda has updated the Aviator with a new LED headlamp for 2018. It also gets a metal protector for the exhaust and two storage hooks to improve the practicality. It also gets the new four-in-one ignition key, with the option of remotely unlocking the seat. The Aviator is now also available in a new red paint scheme along with the three existing colours. There are no mechanical changes in the scooter.
Powering the Aviator is a 109cc single-cylinder engine delivering 8bhp and 8.9Nm of torque. It rides on a 12-inch front wheel with telescopic front suspension and a 10-inch rear wheel with a monoshock. A front disc brake is offered as an optional extra.
The Aviator is offered in three variants - drum brake with steel wheel, drum brake with alloy wheels and disc brake with alloy wheels. It competes against the TVS Jupiter Classic and the Yamaha Fascino.
