Honda has launched the 2018 variant of the CB Hornet in India. Pricing for the bike starts at Rs 84,675 for the standard variant and goes up to Rs 92,675 for the ABS DLX version.
The design of the bike continues to be the same as the previous model, the bike now gets new graphics for a refreshed look. For 2018, the CB Hornet also gets optional single-channel ABS and a full-LED headlamp. While the bike gets hazard lights, kill switch continues to elude the features list.
There are no mechanical changes in the bike. The CB Hornet 160R retains the 163cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine from the outgoing model. The unit produces 15.7bhp at 8500rpm and 14.7Nm of torque at 6500rpm via a five-speed gearbox.
The CB Hornet 160R competes against the Yamaha FZ S V2.0 and the Suzuki Gixxer in the Indian market. It is also available with Honda’s proprietary CBS (Combi-brake system) which is priced at Rs 89,175 and an ABS standard variant priced at Rs 90,175.
