Honda has unveiled the 2018 models of the CB400 and CB1300 with a few upgrades. Both the bikes are available in naked ‘Super Four’ and semi-faired ‘Super Bol’dOr’ versions.
Visually, the naked Super Four versions get upgraded LED headlamps like the Honda’s other modern classic, the CB1100RS. Both the bikes alsoget a bump in power. The CB400’s 399cc in-line four engine’s output has increased from 51bhp to 54bhp. It also gets a revised throttle body for better response.
The CB1300 uses a 1284cc in-line four mill and the output for this engine has been increased from 97bhp to 107bhp. The bike now sports a slipper clutch along with upgraded front brake calipers. Both the bikes feature new exhausts to comply with Japanese emission norms.
We can expect the bikes to be launched in Europe soon, although it is unlikely to end up on our shores soon.
