The custom silver paint job, inspired by the silver mines in the Black Hills of South Dakota, sets the Chieftain Elite apart from its sibling.
It takes a team of artisans over 25 hours to hand-paint each bike, which means that no two Chieftain Elites look alike.
The large and aerodynamic fairing integrates LED headlamps. The tinted windshield’s height is electronically adjustable.
The flowing fender design flaunts the 19-inch front wheel. The 10-spoke contrast-cut wheels are unique to the Chieftain Elite.
The Chieftain Elite features a 200-watt audio system with speakers in the fairing and saddlebags, billet aluminium floorboards, pinnacle mirrors and heated leather seats.
The Chieftain Elite also gets Indian’s proprietary ‘Ride Command’ infotainment system with a seven-inch touchscreen display.
The Chieftain Elite is powered by the 1811cc ‘Thunder Stroke 111’ V-twin engine developing 135Nm of torque and mated to a six-speed gearbox.
For better performance, you can opt for a big-bore kit, high flow air intake, performance cams and exhaust systems.
It also gets keyless ignition and remote-lockable hard bags. Electronics include cruise control, tyre pressure monitoring system and ABS.
The suspension setup consists of 46mm inverted front-forks and a rear mono-shock. Brake setup consists of dual 300mm discs up front and a 300mm disc at the rear.
Just 350 units of the Chieftain Elite have been made, of which a handful have been allocated for India. As such, exclusivity is guaranteed.
