Indian Motorcycles has teased the Roadmaster Elite on social media. The manufacturer has thrown all the bells and whistles on the standard Roadmaster to make the Roadmaster Elite. The bike gets a slew of exclusive bits and is limited to 300 units worldwide.
The bike sports a custom bike-inspired two tone blue and black colour scheme and continues to be embellished in chrome. Indian says that the paint scheme is finished by hand and takes 30 hours to complete. The Roadmaster Elite also gets a 23K gold leaf on the fuel tank logo to boost its ‘exclusive’ tag.
The Indian Roadmaster Elite sports a 300-watt audio system, dual-climate heated seat, heated grips, passenger armrests, billet aluminium passenger and rider floorboards and pinnacle mirrors. Powering the bike is the same 1811cc ‘Thunder-Stroke’ V-twin engine which is rated at 139Nm of torque. This unit is mated to a six-speed gearbox and final belt drive.
The bike was revealed globally along with the Springfield Dark Horse and the updated 2018 range. We can expect the manufacturer to unveil the bikes in India sometime this year. However, the Roadmaster Elite will be the first to arrive in the country.
