Kawasaki Ninja brand has always been a hot favorite among sports bike enthusiasts around the world. This time around, rendered images of the 2018 Ninja 300 have emerged, giving us a glimpse of how the new model might turn out to be. The motorcycle has been on sale since 2013 and has never received any major upgrade yet. Based on what can be seen, the new Ninja 300 is expected to get its design upgrades from its larger sibling, the Ninja 650.
It is likely that the2018 Ninja 300 will continue to be powered by a 296cc. 2-cylinder liquid cooled engine that generates 39bhp of power at 11,000rpm and 27Nm of torque at 10,000rpm. Reports indicate that the new model will get dual channel ABS and ride-by-wire throttle. Moreover, it will also get a new instrument console. The rendered images reveal the 2018 Ninja 250 in the Japanese market, which is powered by a 249cc parallel twin that generates 31bhp at 11,000rpm and 21Nm of peak torque at 10,000rpm. Although, we will not get the option of a smaller engine, the design and other technological upgrades will be carried forward.
The sporty and aggressive front will feature LED headlamp and upside down front forks. More details about the new model will be known at the time of its official unveiling, sometime later in 2017. Although a few reports indicate that there might be a 4-cylinder engine on offer, it is highly unlikely that this wouldbe introduced anytime soon. Instead, it will continue to be offered in a twin-cylinder spec.
