The Kawasaki Ninja 650, which was previously only available in the KRT colour scheme, and Green and Black hue, has now been launched in two new colours. The Ninja 650 can now be had in Blue and Black shades as well. The motorcycle retails for Rs 5.33 lakhs (ex-showroom, India).
The Blue paint scheme comes with black graphics while the black version only gets a sprinkling of green. Kawasaki will continue to sell the Ninja 650 in KRT colours that comes at a premium of around Rs 15,000. But, the Green and Black colour scheme has been pulled off the market.
The 650 retains its aggressive styling that seems to be a mix between the Ninja 1000 and the Ninja ZX-10R. At the heart of the sport tourer is the same 649cc parallel twin, liquid-cooled engine producing 67.2bhp and 65.7Nm of torque via a six-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch.
The Kawasaki Ninja 650 faces competition from the, Hyosung GT650R, Honda CBR 650F and the Benelli TNT 600GT in the Indian market. Bookings for the 2018 version have already commenced at Kawasaki dealerships across the country.
