Kawasaki has launched the 2018 Z250 with three new paint schemes in Indonesia.
Unlike the Indian market, Indonesia gets the Z250 in two variants – standard and ABS. Of these, the standard variant is now offered in orange/black and grey/black paint schemes. The Z250 ABS on the other hand, is offered in a red/black paint scheme. The new paint schemes and decals complement the sharp Z800-inspired styling of the quarter-litre street fighter. The Z250 ABS also features new golden alloy wheels, however, the standard variants have to make do with black alloy wheels.
At the heart of the Z250 is a 249cc parallel-twin engine, delivering 31bhp and 21Nm of torque. In India, the Z250 is available only in a single paint scheme – green/black with golden alloy wheels, and retails at Rs 3.06 lakhs (ex-showroom). It competes against the Benelli TNT 300 and the KTM 390 Duke.
