The provisional calendar for the 2018 MotoGP season has been announced, and as we've reported before, Thailand is the round that will be added to the schedule.
The 2018 season will start one week earlier, in Qatar, and start a little earlier in the day to avoid the dew that forms on the track once the ambient temperature falls. Thailand will start the flyaway rounds, but instead of the expected 2+2 format, there will be a fortnight's break after the race at the Buriram Circuit, then the Japanese, Australian and Malaysian GPs will be held on back to back weekends. Sepang's new deal with Dorna makes it the penultimate round of the season, before things wrap in Valencia, as always. The entire season with dates is listed below:
