Royal Enfield will flag off its 2018 edition of the Himalayan Odyssey from New Delhi on 5 July. The 15th edition of this trip will cover close to 2200kms in the mighty Himalayas before ending the ride on 22 July in Delhi.
This ride will be flagged off from India Gate, Delhi and traverse towards Khardung-La - the highest motorable road in the world at 17,500 feet above sea level. The registrations will be open on the Royal Enfield website for Himalayan Odyssey 2018 and Himalayan Odyssey - Women 2018 from 4 May onwards. The trip is limited to 50 riders only, and in the women's category, only 20 riders can participate.
The registration fee for this year’s edition is at Rs 48,000 for a solo rider and Rs 96,000 for a couple. For the women edition, the fee has been set at Rs 42,000 for solo rider and Rs 84,000 for a couple. This fee covers the stay, food and medical expenses. The participants need to take care of their own bike and fuel expenses.
