Suzuki has revealed the 2018 model of the Hayabusa along with the GSX-R600 and GSX-R750.
Hold your horses, as the manufacturer has only changed the paint schemes on the bikes. For 2018, the Hayabusa gets a white and red colour scheme with white rims that will be available alongside a new black and red paint scheme. With no mechanical changes, the 2018 Hayabusa continues to use the 1340cc in-line four engine that produces 197bhp and 155Nm of torque.
Meanwhile the Suzuki GSX-R600 gets a silver/white, grey/red paint scheme and the trademark Suzuki blue colour. The GSX-R750 now sports a new black/red and black/grey colour along with the blue paint scheme.
The 2018 Hayabusa marks 19 years of the motorcycle and with all respect to the Japanese falcon, it is long due for a revamp. With earlier reports talking about a new turbocharged ‘Busa for 2019, we can only wait for Suzuki to reveal the bike soon.
On the other hand, the GSX-R600 and GSX-R750 are unlikely to arrive in India, although we can expect the 2018 Hayabusa to be unveiled at the Auto Expo next year along with two other bikes.
