The 2018 edition of The Valley Run (TVR) will be conducted at the Aamby Valley City Air Strip in Lonavla, Pune. The sixth edition of the annual drag racing event, the 2018 TVR will be conducted between 13 and 15 April.
The two-wheeler classes will be conducted over the first two days. This year, TVR will host 15 classes for two-wheelers. The M1 class is the most basic one, for upto 165cc motorcycles, while the most extreme category is the Foreign Open. Organisers offer cash prizes for the winners of each category, as long as there are at least six entries. The prize money ranges from Rs 10,000 for M1 and goes up to Rs 50,000 for the O1 (Indian open). Elite Octane, the organisers of TVR are expecting a turnout of 250 competitors this year.
Those who wish to compete in TVR can register through the Elite Octane’s official website. The entry fee ranges from Rs 3,540 for lower classes and goes up to Rs 8,260 for the Foreign Open. All competitors need to hold a valid FMSCI Competition License.
