Triumph’s flagship adventure tourer, the Tiger Explorer has been spotted testing in Spain. The spied bike is the higher-spec XC variant.
The new bike has a sharper front end that focuses on more airflow and features a new all-LED headlamp unit. This headlamp unit incorporates cornering lights along with horizontal DRL strips. The bike also features fog lamps which are expected to be standard on the higher-spec XC and optional on the standard variant.
The 2018 Tiger Explorer will get semi-active electronic suspension by WP along with the TFT dash from the Street Triple 765. The bike is also likely to include the cruise control borrowed from the Speedmaster and Bobber Black. Unlike other Euro4 compliant motorcycles which feature a humongous exhaust, Triumph has managed to keep the exhaust on this bike small. Also visible is the bike’s redesigned crash bar.
Triumph is expected to reveal the bike at the EICMA show in Milan, this November. We can expect the bike to arrive at Indian shores a few months after it is launched globally.
