For 2018, the YZF-R15 has been updated with three new paint schemes. The motorcycle is now available in yellow, blue and black paint schemes. All three bikes get different sets of decals. The blue bike even gets blue wheels, while the other two get colour coordinated rim tapes. Even the fork bottles are painted in gold.

There are no mechanical upgrades. The R15 continues to be powered by a 155cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, delivering 19bhp and 14.7Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed transmission with a slipper clutch.
The YZF-R15 V3.0 sold in India is similar to the Indonesian-spec motorcycle, although it uses conventional telescopic forks in place of the inverted forks. It is priced at Rs 1.25 lakhs (ex-showroom).
