- Pulsar 150 Neon launched at Rs 64,998
- Available in three colours – red, yellow, black
Bajaj Motorcycles has launched the 2019 version of its highest selling Pulsar, the Pulsar 150. The company has given it the Neon suffix branding as well.
The 2019 Pulsar just gets aesthetic update and has been priced at Rs 64,998 (ex-showroom Delhi) which is introductory. The 2019 bikes are available in three neon colours – red, yellow with matt black and silver. The neon accents can be seen on the wheel stripes, side cover, grab rail and the 3D Pulsar emblem. There’s a bit of neon accent on the headlamp assembly as well.
Mechanically, there are no changes. The Pulsar 150 Neon continues to be powered by a 149cc air-cooled carburettor engine that churns out 15bhp at 9000rpm and 12Nm at 6500rpm. This motor is mated to a five-speed gearbox. The motorcycle rides on telescopic forks on the front and twin gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is handled by a single disc on the front in all variants while only the twin disc variant gets rear disc brake.
The Pulsar 150 Neon competes with the TVS Apache RTR 160, Hero Xtreme Sports and the Honda CB Unicorn 150.
