- Gets revised bodywork and a bigger fuel tank.
- To be powered by the same 853cc parallel-twin engine from the standard F850 GS.
- Likely to be unveiled at the 2018 EICMA.
The patents of the 2019 BMW F850 GS Adventure has been leaked, revealing a few details about the bike.
It appears to continue with a similar design language as the standard F850 GS that is sold in India. However, the Adventure version gets slightly revised bodywork. It sports a wider front beak along with differently styled wind-deflectors on either side of the windscreen, revised side panels, a larger luggage rack and a steel cage engine protector.
The 2019 F850 GS is likely to be powered by the same 853cc, parallel-twin engine that produces 93bhp and 92Nm of torque. The bike will also be equipped with a larger 24-litre fuel tank as compared to the 16-litre tank on the standard bike. The bike is likely to be heavier than the F850 GS
While there is no confirmed timeline for the launch, we can expect BMW to reveal the 2019 F850 GS Adventure at the 2018 EICMA. The manufacturer is likely to launch the bike in India a few months after its global reveal.
