The 2019 Ducati Scrambler Icon was recently introduced in India with a price tag of Rs 7.69 lakhs (ex-showroom, India). We bring to you the detailed photo gallery of the motorcycle.
The Scrambler Icon continues with the retro-design silhouette of the previous model.
However, it gets a few visual, mechanical as well as electronic changes for 2019.
In terms of cosmetics, there is the new exhaust shield and canister cover, machine-finished 10-spoke alloys and the LED DRL ring around the headlamp.
Ducati has also revamped the Scrambler Icon's seat making it more comfortable for the rider.
The handlebar switchgear has been improved for 2019 and features a push-down ignition button that replaces the push button on the previous model.
One of the most important changes though is the addition of the hydraulic clutch assembly and adjustable levers that ensure a smooth and lighter clutch lever pull.
Ducati has equipped the bike's electronic package with a cornering ABS unit. Furthermore, it also gets a gear position indicator and fuel gauge in its instrument cluster.
The Scrambler Icon is powered by the 803cc, L-Twin, air-cooled 'Desmodromic' engine. This motor produces 73bhp of power and 67Nm of torque.
Bookings for the 2019 Scrambler Icon have already begun with deliveries expected to begin sometime soon.
