The launch colours are more of the happy, bright ones we’ve come to expect from the brand. The orange is a new colour, although we still do like the yellow very much.
The headlamp DRL and bezel is new, as are the LED indicators.
The tank is slightly larger, and echoes the Scrambler 1100.
The brake system remains the same, but the wheel design is new.
The rider’s view is a familiar one – there isn’t much to interrupt the view of the road ahead.
The instrument cluster has been updated to include a fuel gauge and gear indicator. Bluetooth connectivity is optional.
There is no change to the heart of the Scrambler Icon – it remains an 803cc L-twin that generates 75bhp and 68Nm. There is a new hydraulic clutch.
The seat is even lower now.
The updated electronics package should make it easier to get this done.
