-Entire Ducati Scrambler range to be launched
-Consists of 4 models
-Expected price increase of around Rs 30,000 on each version.
Ducati is scheduled to launch the entire 2019 Scrambler range in India tomorrow, 26 April.
The Ducati Scrambler range consists of four models- Icon, Desert Sled, Café Racer and Full Throttle. And for 2019, Ducati has updated the entire range with some of the main changes being cosmetic updates, a lighter clutch assembly, better quality switchgear, LED DRLs and the inclusion of the fuel gauge and gear indicator in the instrument cluster. The bikes are powered by an 803cc, L-twin, air-cooled engine that generates 73bhp of power and 67Nm of torque.
Each of these motorcycles has a different and individualistic character to them. The Scrambler Icon, which is the base of all the other variants in the range, gets a modern-retro design language. The Scrambler Café-Racer sports lowered handlebars, a solo-seat and rides on spoke wheels. Meanwhile, the Scrambler Full Throttle is said to be inspired from flat-tracker motorcycles. On the other hand, the Desert Sled is the most distinctive-looking Scrambler. The high mudguard, longer-travel suspension, engine sump guard and headlamp mesh guard give it more off-road abilities than its siblings.
Bookings for the 2019 Ducati Scrambler range have already begun and deliveries are expected to commence sometime next month.
