- 2019 Scrambler range launch on 26 April
- Will first launch Icon, Desert Sled models
- Gets revised styling, cornering ABS
Ducati will launch the 2019 Scrambler range on 26 April. The Scrambler range consists of the Icon, Full Throttle, Café Racer and the Desert Sled. However, the Icon and the Desert Sled will be launched on 26 April. The rest two are expected to launch in the next few months.
For the 2019 year, the Italian maker has given the Icon and Desert Sled some aesthetic updates. So things like new headlamp, cylinder head fins and machined finish alloy wheels are now seen on the 2019 models. The 2019 Scrambler’s instrument cluster also gets a gear indicator, fuel gauge and Ducati’s multimedia system with optional Bluetooth connectivity.
The bike also comes equipped with a cornering ABS, although there’s still no traction control system. However, the bike continues to be powered by a 803cc, L-twin engine that puts out 75bhp and 68Nm of torque. This unit is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a new hydraulic clutch.
Both these bikes will go on sale soon after the launch. We are expecting a price increase of up to Rs 60,000 for both the models.
