Hero MotoCorp will launch the 2019 Pleasure in India on 13 May. The company will launch the Maestro Edge 125 scooter on the same day.
The invite says all new scooters will be launched on 13 May. While we know that the Maestro Edge 125 has been built from ground up, the latest invite makes us believe that the Pleasure has been built on a new chassis and possibly a new engine. In fact, the 2019 Pleasure was spotted while being shot for a TV commercial with Alia Bhatt a few weeks ago.
When the 2019 Hero Pleasure was caught on camera, it revealed quite a few details, especially the aesthetics bits. The fascia has been heavily revised as it now gets a bit of modern sharp touch. The headlamp gets bigger and it does enhances the overall appeal of the scooter. The 2019 Pleasure is likely to be upgraded to an 110cc engine from the current 102cc. This 110cc engine could come from the Duet and the Maestro Edge. In terms of features, expect the new Pleasure to get things like LED light, smartphone charging option and a few chrome finishes around the bike.
The current Pleasure is priced at Rs 45,100 (ex-showroom Delhi). We are expecting a marginal price hike for the 2019 Pleasure as it will be a new scooter which will also sport the Integrated Brake System (IBS).
