Kawasaki has launched the 2019 Ninja H2 range in India which includes the standard bike and two limited edition models; the Ninja H2R and Ninja H2 Carbon.
While the Ninja H2 is priced at Rs 34.5 lakhs, the H2 Carbon and H2R retail at Rs 41 lakhs and Rs 72 lakhs respectively (all prices ex-showroom). The 2019 Ninja H2 range gets a new full-colour TFT instrument cluster along with smartphone connectivity through Kawasaki's Rideology app. This app records ride stats using GPS. All three motorcycles also get a special coat of paint that allows scratches to repair themselves.
The Kawasaki Ninja H2 continues to be powered by a supercharged, 998cc, inline-four cylinder engine. However at 231bhp, it is 20bhp more than the previous model thanks to a new intake chamber, revised spark plugs, air filter and a remapped ECU. Kawasaki has also equipped the Ninja H2 with better braking hardware. It gets Brembo Stylema brake calipers that replace the Brembo M50s on the earlier version. The motorcycle also sports Bridgestone RS11 sport tyres which claim to improve handling.
The 2019 Kawasaki Ninja H2 range comes to India via the CBU (Completely Built Unit) route. Dealers will start accepting bookings for the motorcycles from 1 September, 2018 with deliveries commencing early next year.
