2019 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R to be launched in India tomorrow

Kawasaki India will finally launch their most awaited motorcycle, the Ninja ZX-6R tomorrow. The information was released through its official twitter account. 

The Twitter post says ‘Geared up to debut with price revelation’.  The company had commenced bookings for this middleweight sportsbike late October and was closed on 30 November. The future lots of the Ninja ZX-6R will be decided based on the response to the pre-bookings in India. 

The new Kawasaki ZX-6R gets its power from a 636cc in-line four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed gearbox and the unit is now compliant with Euro 5 emission norms. The motorcycle gets a host of electronic features including KIBS (Kawasaki intelligent anti-lock braking system), KTRC (Kawasaki traction control), KQS (Kawasaki quick shifter) and LED headlamps and tail lamps.

Kawasaki will assemble the Ninja ZX-6R in India which is bound to make the bike quite enticing as the pricing will be on the aggressive side. We are expecting a price tag of Rs 9.5 lakhs to 10.5 lakhs, but the Japanese maker could get a bit greedy as the bike has a big fan following in India and no rivals.
