The 2019 Kawasaki Versys 1000 was unveiled at the 2018 EICMA show in Milan, Italy. In terms of upgrades, it has received styling changes while the electronics and cycle parts have also been tweaked. For braking, the adventure tourer gets 310mm twin discs with four-piston calipers on the front and a 250mm disc with single-piston caliper at the back.
Kawasaki hasn’t divulged the price of the bike but it is likely to be retailed around Rs 11 lakhs (ex-showroom). It will come as a CKD product. In India, the 2019 Kawasaki Versys 1000 will compete against the Honda Africa Twin, Triumph Tiger 800 XR, Ducati Multistrada 950 and BMW F750 GS.
